Churkin: Russia has made in the UN security Council a draft decision on the Minsk agreements
Olga Denisova. Russia has made to the UN security Council a draft decision on the execution of the Minsk agreement on the settlement of the conflict in the East of Ukraine, said permanent Commissioner of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitaly Churkin.

"We circulated a very brief draft decision," said Churkin correspondents on the results of closed consultations of the UN security Council. He explained that the document aims to " to reassure the Need (compliance - ed.) of the Minsk agreement and specifically in regard to the dialogue between Kyiv, Lugansk and Donetsk regarding the modality of the local elections ".

Thursday th of the United Nations on the initiative of Russia held a meeting on the issue of the failure of the Kiev Minsk agreement of 12 February. The need for such a meeting Churkin explained by the recent decision of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine to postpone the introduction of special government order in the Donbas to the holding of elections in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.

Churkin criticized this law, which, according to his statement, "does not currently any special status" and " completely violates the logic of a set of measures that stems from the need to address all issues consultation between Kiev, Donetsk and Lugansk ".
