Kiev submits a request to the UN and begins meeting on peacekeepers
Olga Denisova. Kiev on the last working day of the week will be served in the UN official request for the deployment of Ukraine's peacekeeping operation and starts the necessary meeting in the UN Secretariat.

"We received instructions, and starting tomorrow will begin the formal meeting at the Secretariat on the format and mandate," said the permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Yuriy Sergeyev correspondents in the headquarters of the UN on Thursday night.

"We already came to an official request," said Sergeyev.

As explained in the Ukrainian mission, the request will be submitted on the last working day of the week in the UN Secretariat.

Tuesday, March 17, the Verkhovna Rada approved the appeal of the President of Petro Poroshenko in the UN security Council and the EU Council on the deployment within the country international peacekeeping and security. On Thursday, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman signed the proper resolution.
