Odintsovo court of Moscow has decided to extradite former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Shepelev, said Acting Press Secretary of the Moscow regional court Catherine Igumnov.
"The court on March 21, issued a ruling on extradition Shepeleva in Ukraine. Petitions of his arrest was not considered, " said she news Agency. In Russia, RIA "Novosti" is not explained, what is accused Shepelev. A former national people's Deputy of Ukraine Shepelev was declared in the international search, in relation to him was opened criminal proceedings on suspicion of theft of state funds on a large scale and attempted murder. Shepelev was found and detained in Hungary. The authorities of that state refused Shepeleva in the granting of refugee status and was extradited to Ukraine. Later Shepelev, which the court decided to detain, fled from Kiev city clinical emergency hospital, where he was under the protection of workers escort regiment Kyiv SIZO. on 20 March the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine received official confirmation from the Russian capital on detention Shepeleva on the territory of the Russian Federation.
