How Demi Moore fell in love with Ashton Kutcher

The Hollywood stars tied the knot in 2005 after dating for two years. Demi, 47, knew she was serious about Ashton from the moment they met, but couldn`t find the words to let him know. Rather than scare the hunk away by revealing her true feelings, she would hint about her emotions in emails and phone calls.

"I knew it had the potential to be something special right away. It was like meeting somebody that I`ve just known where you just recognise one another. It was so disproportionate, the level of emotion we were experiencing to the time we had spent together," Demi revealed in an interview for the April issue of Harper`s Bazaar magazine. "When you don`t know someone, you can`t just jump and say, `I love you.` `Nice to meet you, I love you!` We used to end our calls or emails with `And everything we don`t say.` "

Demi also spoke about the well-documented age difference between her and her husband. At 32, Ashton is 15 years younger than Demi and many have labelled her a cougar - a term for a woman in her 40s who dates younger guys. The actress is quick to dismiss the derogatory term and insists age doesn`t matter when it comes to true love.
"`Cougar` has become so distasteful. I really hate that expression. Puma has a sweeter quality, more elegant," she said. "And then somebody said to me, `Pumas are only for people in their 30s.` "
