Sleep will help defeat racism

Experts found a method by which you can increase the tolerance of people towards each other. As it turned out, it was influenced by the sounds that the individual feels in the dream.

Scientists have found a method to change the perception of the person with sleep. During the experiment, published in the journal Science, the scientists came to the conclusion that this way you can even increase the tolerance of people to each other and defeat their racial or sexist prejudice.

The study, done under the management of Xiao Qing Hu, was held in 2 stages. Initially, the subjects were exposed to 2 categories of people. In the main category took pictures of the fairer sex surrounded by multiple statements on scientific issues. In a command there was a photo of black people surrounded the phrase with positive psychological overtones. Display any image was accompanied by a peculiar sound.

In the 2nd part of the experiment, the subjects fell asleep for 90 minutes. In the deepest phase of sleep people brought to listen to the same sounds, what they heard when viewing photos. But none of them knew directly hear.

Scientists noticed that the degree of bias in the relationship of the fairer sex who are engaged in science, and people of other race subjects decreased after viewing the images. However, in this case, when the sleeping subjects felt the sound as well as the level of tolerance increased by 56%, as compared with what it was before the dream. In this case, a week tolerance experience is not revived to the level in which it existed prior to the study.

As mean scientists, these totals due to the fact that in the dream the people lose again experienced day information.
