After the last parade on red square on 9 May, where it was first presented modern Russian military equipment based on the tracked platform "Armata", India and China expressed interest in acquiring modern IFVs and tanks. This was announced by the assistant of the President Vladimir Kozhin.
"The enthusiasm manifested, a new technique, it is expensive. Mostly it is our traditional partners: China, India and South-East Asia", - quote "Izvestia" Kozhin. But he stressed that for the beginning of the BMP and tank on the basis of "Armata" will be equipped national army.
Experts report that the interest of India in the purchase of modern tanks from foreign States caused dissatisfaction in their own research. For example, they are not very satisfied with their main battle tank "Arjun", the Director of the Center for analysis of strategies and technologies Ruslan Pukhov.
In addition to India and China "Armata" was interested in Egypt. As we were informed Days.Ru, Moscow expressed readiness to discuss with Cairo progressive delivery of the tank, but only after program implementation of the state order. Heavy tracked unified platform "Armata" is developed by "Uralvagonzavod" since 2009. Based on it is planned to create a series of modern military equipment.
