"I don't know when exactly (sanctions will be extended - edition), but the fundamental decision was taken. Maybe it will happen at the next EU Council on foreign relations (June 22 - ed). The story is about prolongation for a year, it will happen in a few days, " said brown, answering the question of when the EU will extend the punishment against the Crimea.
Restrictive measures against the Crimea, prohibiting, for example, all investments in the economy of the Peninsula, expires on June 23.
Western countries since March 2014 several times already imposed penalties because Russia's position on Ukraine. The last case of the use of such practices were the limits imposed in March 2015, when expanded sanctions List Australia.
