Already started the construction of 2 basic thermal power plants with a total capacity of 940 MW in Simferopol and Sevastopol. This Already exceeds the needs of the Peninsula, " - said Yegorov.
The capacity of each of the power plants under construction in Simferopol and Sevastopol is 470 MW. Each station will have 2 units. According to Yegorov, the construction of station use modern equipment that does not consume much fuel, high efficiency, closed-loop water consumption. Power station raises Firm Technopromexport, a subsidiary of Rostec.
Crimea is 70% dependent on the supply of electric energy from Ukraine. According to the estimates of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation, the region needed an additional approximately 880 MW of capacity. Before the end of the current year, primarily energy bridge in the region should be introduced, which will allow to give to the Crimea from the mainland To 300-350 MW every day. The second phase will provide an opportunity to increase the power flow To 800-840 MW.
