Ukraine can rename 908 towns and villages within the decommunization
Local authorities in Ukraine are required until November 21 to submit their proposals for the renaming 908 towns and villages throughout most of the country within the framework of decommunization, informs the Ukrainian Institute of national memory.
"3 months left in communities to ecomonitoring at least 908 towns and villages. To provide proposals for new or the return of historical names that are associated with the Communist totalitarian past, legally they are obliged to 21 November, " according to the Internet representation of the Institute, which produced a corresponding reference list.
