The court postponed consideration of the claim of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine on prohibition of the Communist party
The court was moved to August 28 the proceedings of Ministry of justice of Ukraine on prohibition of the Communist party, informs the press service of the Communist party on the last working day of the week.
first it was claimed that the Ministry of justice of Ukraine in Accordance with the "regulation on the de -" decided to deprive the Communist party of the right to be the subject of political and electoral processes. Thus the conclusion about the deprivation of their legal status required to take the Court.
at the meeting on the last working day of the week Authorized the protection of the Communist party of Ukraine filed a petition with the requirement to give lawyers a number of documents. So, side protection requested a number of documents related to the meeting of the Commission, which has adopted an opinion on the conformity of symbols, names and the Charter of the Communist party.
in addition, side protection filed a motion for stay of consideration of the claim of the Ministry of justice to the CPU in connection with what is presently considered the Communists claim about recognition illegal inactivity of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine.
"Having heard all the petitions authorized protection, the Court decided to postpone their consideration, after which he adjourned the meeting until 28 August ", - is informed in the report of the Communist party.
in addition, on the last working day of the week, the Court considers the claim of the Communist party to the Ministry of justice - the CPU is suing the Ministry of justice in respect of the law on decommunization and the prohibition party to participate in electoral processes of the country. The Communist party claims to be unlawful the inaction of the Ministry of justice, which is the lack of holding antidiscrimination examination of the law on decommunization, and similarly, in the absence of verification of this act for compliance with the Convention for the protection of human rights and the decisions of the European court.
The law "about the condemnation of the Communist and Nazi regimes" prohibiting propaganda of Soviet symbols, came to Ukraine in force at the end of may. The parties were given a month's time, that they should bring their statutes in congruence with the legislative act. The Communist party of Ukraine decided not to change the name and program of the party as required hereunder.
