Recognized coffee safe for heart patients
Drinking coffee does not contribute to the emergence of difficulties with the cardiovascular system of the inhabitants of our planet, suffering from atrial fibrillation of the heart, established scientists.

It even slightly reduces the probability of arrhythmia in women, but only slightly increases the representatives of the stronger sex.

One of the most known diseases worldwide, related to the violation of the heart is atrial fibrillation. With all of this for a long time among the inhabitants and the scientific community was dominated by the idea that people who have it diagnosed, should refrain from drinking coffee, so as not to aggravate health problems.

The results of the research, Swedish scientists from the Karolinska Institute in Uppsala, published in the journal BMC Medicine, can adjust the opinion of professionals about this issue. For more than 12 years health workers monitored the health of about 80 thousand people of Sweden and the United States.

The magnitude of the forecast research group under the management of Suzanne Larsson interviewed the participants of the experiment, how often they drink coffee, and monitor the condition of their hearts and blood vessels. From atrial fibrillation to bleed about 7 thousand ladies and men who agreed to participate in the experiments, which accounted for about 9% of the aggregate number of volunteers from wave 1 research.

"In General we found almost no evidence that high intake of coffee may increase the risk of developing atrial fibrillation. This is important because this discovery indicates that people who love coffee and are worried about the health of the heart, can continue to use it, at least in small doses, without the risk of becoming a victim of this disease", - quotes RIA Novosti Susanna Larsson.

Thus, the study demonstrated that drinking coffee even in extremely large portions had no effect on the health of people suffering from arrhythmia at the onset of the experiment or received the disease over time. To audit their own conclusions scientists have used data from other studies, dedicated to the same topic, and even tested a new group of volunteers. In the end, the total number of inhabitants of our planet, swept with the experiment, is equal to 250 thousand people.

With all this re-research has revealed another interesting connection. So, it has been observed that caffeine, though extremely weak, but increased the chances of developing arrhythmias in the male, also somewhat reduced in women. Now the professionals in the course of further research is to understand why it happens. And yet if the disease is already obtained, the consumption of coffee does not affect health, proved scientists.

Despite its prevalence, atrial fibrillation is a fairly dangerous disease. It can lead to the emergence of blood clots and heart failure. The formation of blood clots as a result of violation of the contractions of the Atria occurs, usually in the left atrial appendage. These clots can through the blood to reach various organs, namely the brain and cause an ischemic stroke.
