The fire at the oil depot "Belarusian Republican youth Union" in the village of glevaha near Kiev in June of this year did not cause harm to the environment, appropriate conclusions have been made by the members of the special division of the public Council under the Ministry of environment of Ukraine.
The fire at the oil depot "BRSM-Oil" in the village of Vasylkiv district Cracky appeared June 8 and was finally extinguished only on 16 June. Ecologists are assured that the danger to natural factors is not, however, promised to test the water and soil close to the fire. The first of July the state Inspection of Ukraine said that the results of analysis of surface water samples in the tank farm area showed that the concentration of harmful substances does not exceed norm. It was also noted about taking soil samples located close to the tank farm areas of the Kiev region.
