The Minister of Finance of Ukraine stated that it had conducted dialogues with the head of the IMF
The head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said that he met with the head of the international monetary Fund (IMF), Christine Lagarde, held dialogues on assistance to Kiev.
"Had the honor of meeting with Christine Lagarde, to discuss and to thank for the support from the IMF," Jaresko said in his own Twitter.
The four-year Program of financial assistance to Ukraine was approved by the IMF Board on March eleven. The program provides for the allocation of Fund 17, 5 billion dollars, and all international creditors in four years - 40 billion us dollars. Ukraine this year has already received 6, 7 billion dollars of aid in total aid provided in 2015, 10 billion dollars. This year allocated a further 2 trenches 1, 7 billion.
Ukraine in September launched a legal procedure for the restructuring of its public debt. The government of Ukraine was first included in the perimeter of restructuring and Russia bought Eurobonds for $ 3 billion. In Kyiv they are considered commercial, and not public credit. Russia repeatedly stating the position that to participate in this restructuring has no plans and will demand full repayment of Ukraine's Eurobonds in the beginning of winter this year.
