Yatsenyuk has threatened Russia by the court, unless she accepts the rules of debt relief
Kiev offers Russia until October 29 to make rules for restructuring and write-off of debt in 3 billion dollars, otherwise ready for litigation, said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
"$3 billion that Russia needs to restructure and also not to completely write off remained unresolved. On October 29 we offer Russia more time to take decision for themselves - they want to get the rules that we have made a proposal to all creditors, or they believe that they are unique. If they believe that they are unique, we are ready for the trial with the Russian Federation. If they believe that they are normal, we offer them on 29 October to adopt those rules that are adopted all creditors of the Ukrainian ", - said Yatsenyuk at a press conference on Thursday.
Ukraine in September launched a legal procedure for the restructuring of its public debt. The government of Ukraine was first included in the perimeter of restructuring and Russia bought Eurobonds for $ 3 billion. In Kyiv they are considered commercial, and not public credit. Russia repeatedly stating the position that to participate in this restructuring has no plans and will demand full repayment of Ukraine's Eurobonds in the beginning of winter this year. A high-ranking source in the Russian government had previously said that Russia will be forced to go to court If Ukraine fails to repay these Eurobonds.
