Ukraine plans to build LNG terminal for public funds, but are willing to consider proposals from private investors, told reporters on Tuesday the head of "Naftogaz of Ukraine" Andrey Kobelev.
"This project we choose to Fund is not going. There is a problem of the Bosphorus. If someone thinks that he can pass the Bosphorus, We will be more than happy If someone will build a terminal for its money, and We connect to the system. For this reason, all who wish to build a terminal for public money We're talking - no, but for the private money - please " - said Kobolyev.
Ukraine has been declared the intention to build near Odessa LNG terminal, but the project is facing serious difficulties. For example, Ukraine cannot come to a consensus with Turkey on passage of tankers through the Bosporus and Dardanelles.
