Police in Canada foiled a terrorist attack
Police in Canada foiled a terrorist attack planned by a terrorist in a public place. The criminal was killed, said one of the officials.

A senior official of police said that the suspect planned to use a bomb to carry out a terrorist attack in a public place, but was killed in the police operation. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because was not authorized to disseminate this information, identified the suspect as Aaron Driver.

Operation of police continued on Wednesday evening in southern Ontario, Strathroy approximately 140 miles South-West of Toronto. Resident Irene Lee said that late Wednesday evening, spent the night at his parents when he heard a loud noise. She said that shortly afterwards, the police came to tell the villagers to remain in their homes.

Royal canadian mounted police earlier said that they stopped a possible attack after receiving reliable information about a potential terrorist threat. They said the suspect was identified and "was adopted the right course of action" to ensure that there was no danger to the public. The canadian Minister of public safety Ralph Goodal said he spoke with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the events ",to ensure that city residents have been and continue to be adequately protected." "The RCMP, the canadian security Service and other police and security agencies were involved in the operation, he added. "These companies effectively behaved in terms of the situation," said Gudal in a statement. Taking all necessary information into account, the national level of threat of terrorism to Canada is at the level of "average."
