The Ministry of labour and social protection has prepared a Draft designed to simplify the receipt of maternity pay.

The authors of the document propose to extend the mechanism of direct payments in all regions from January 1, 2021, explained in a press-Department service.
currently part of the regions for such benefits used test principle: the head pays them for their own account proportionally, thus reducing the amount of deductions to the social insurance Fund.
Direct payments ensure the flow of benefits from the FSS, that is, regardless of the financial situation of the employer. The mechanism gives the possibility not to divert their funds to insurance payments staff noted in the draft.
As told the head of the Ministry Anton Kotkov, during a pandemic, the mechanism of direct payments were used to pay hospital quarantine citizens over 65 years and arriving from abroad. According to his statement, electronic sick leave today represent 52% of all issued by the hospital.
"The bill provides that the temporary disablement allowance, on pregnancy and childbirth, a lump-sum benefit to women who have registered in medical institutions in early terms of pregnancy, will be paid proactively, i.e. without a statement from the employee as a result of the electronic certificate of incapacity (national liberation army) ", - added in the message.
The project Also establishes the electronic document between employer, medical organizations, bodies of state extra-budgetary funds and other agencies.
