Investigators have identified seven suspects behind a terrorist attack at Russia`s busiest airport in late January, a source in law enforcement agencies said on Wednesday.
The powerful blast that ripped through the international arrivals hall of Moscow`s Domodedovo Airport on January 24 killed 36 people and injured over 100.
"According to investigators, seven suspects, including a suicide bomber who belonged to the group that prepared and carried out the terror attack, have been indentified," the source said.
"A circle of people who were in contact with the suspects and knew about their intention to commit a terrorist attack, have also been indentified."
Police identified Magomed Yevloyev, a 20-year-old student from the impoverished southern Russian region of Ingushetia, as the suicide bomber on Sunday.
The Kommersant daily reported on Wednesday that Yevloyev`s teenage brother and sister have been arrested in connection with the attack.
