IRKUTSK, November 8 - Russia`s East Siberian Railroad Company said Tuesday that it increased its oil shipments to China nearly threefold in October.
"The company transported more than 648,500 metric tons of crude oil, compared to 223,500 metric tons last year," the company said.
From January to October, East-Siberian Railroad shipped 6.4 million metric tons of crude to China.
"The East Siberian Railroad Company is ready to increase oil shipments to China. The company is currently modernizing its infrastructure to be able to transport any required amount of cargoes," a company official said.
