Doll makers from around the world have come to Moscow to exhibit their impressions of what a doll from space might look like. Starting from October 6 through October 9 the capital will be hosting the next international doll fair.
Masters from Mexico, Canada, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Estonia, Ukraine and Russia will take part in the event which was already labeled by the experts as a grand event.
This major display will feature a total of around 2,000 fascinating exhibits, hand-crafted with true love and care.
Apart from the latest creations of the international doll-making masters, the display will also see rare dolls of the 18th century. If you are a collector and would like to buy yourself one, you would have to loosen up your wallet and pay as much as $50,000!
The display will be divided into two sections dedicated to two different yet related themes - Space and Maya.
One of main characters of the display will be the Astro Baby, which has actually been in space together with a number of astronauts, including Belgian Frank De Winne, the first Romanian in space Dumitru Prunariu, German cosmonaut Sigmund Jähn, American Charlie Walker and others.
The display will be on at Tishinka Exhibition centre through to October 9.
