Russian Ministry of Defence refuses from co-operation with NATO Ukraine
If Ukraine enters NATO, Russia can stop military-technical co-operation with this country.
This was announced by minister of Defence Sergey Ivanov after negotiations with his Ukrainian colleague.
"I told before that decision of joining certain military organization is right of any state. From another side, other sate has right to choose partners for military-technical co-operation and determine level of industrial dependence from another country. Possible Ukrainian entering to NATO can lead to certain consequences, one of them - reduction of military-technical co-operation with Russia. I find it quite possible", - said Ivanov.
According to information of Ukrainian center of army investigation, conversion and disarmament, amount of military export in 2004 was 650 millions of dollars. From them - 550 millions were gained as a result of export to Russia.
Meanwhile, by words of Ukrainian minister of Defence Griczenko, Russia didn`t make ultimatum to Ukraine. "We didn`t even discuss question of Ukrainian entering to NATO", - said Grizenko.
