Federal Service for Monitoring Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare has announced an open competition for a contract award for carrying out of preventive measures aimed at AIDS relief in Russian Federation in the framework of the priority national project in the field of Health Care in 2006. The head of the service Gennady Onishchenko affirmed the documentation of the competition. The competition will include four projects. The first one is aimed to provide the citizens with necessary information and education. The second contains a complex of preventive measures against AIDS incidence among the most vulnerable groups of the society. The main purpose of the third project is to prevent mother-to-child AIDS transmission. And the fourth project is intended to lower discrimination and raise tolerance to HIV positives and their families. The competition will be conducted among licensed corporations of any organizational legal forms fitting with the criteria of eligibility such as work experience, sufficient material basis and human sources, being not in the process of reorganization, liquidation or bankrupts. The deadline for applications is January 26, 2006. The envelopes with the applications will be opened on January 27, 2006.
