The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine held on the first day weekend meeting with the leadership of the special monitoring mission of the OSCE, the parties discussed the mission's role in the peace plan of President of Ukraine on the settlement of the situation in the East of the country, informs the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of foreign Affairs.
" The twenty-first of June in the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine has held the meeting with the leadership of the special monitoring mission of the OSCE, during which was discussed important mission in the practical implementation of the peace plan of President of Ukraine in regard to the settlement of the situation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine. Considerable attention was paid to the need to establish the appropriate level of security and the release of the hostages ", - informs the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The plan consists of fifteen steps and provides security guarantees for all parties to the negotiations: the exemption from liability under the criminal code, those who have laid down their arms and have not committed serious crimes, as well as the release of the hostages.
in addition, it is expected to make a 10-kilometer buffer zone in the Ukrainian-Russian state border. The plan calls for " withdrawal of illegal armed groups, the development of secure corridor for Russian and Ukrainian mercenaries, disarmament ".
