Hungary has agreed to increase the volume of reverse gas to Ukraine, informs the press service of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine on results of the meeting of the Minister Yuri Prodan and the head of " Naftogaz " Andrei Koroleva with the Minister of foreign trade and foreign Affairs of Hungary tiborem Navracsics and Minister of national development Miklos by Shestak.

" The parties agreed on the opportunity of increase in volumes of gas supplies to Ukraine from the territory of Hungary ", - is informed in the report.

According to existing agreements, Ukraine will have the opportunity to receive this year to reverse the EU only 6, 5 billion cubic meters of gas. Large volumes will be possible only if Kiev will be able to establish large-scale reverse through Slovakia. However, Naftogaz has acknowledged that it cannot be done without the consent of the Russian " Gazprom ".
