The government of Ukraine on 30% has reduced the limit of gas consumption for housing and communal services

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by 30% reduced the limit of gas consumption for municipal plants during the heating season, said at a press conference on the results of the session of the government Minister Ostap Semerak.

according to him, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree on measures on maintenance of inhabitants, plants and organizations of natural gas in 2014 or 2015, which envisages significant steps to reduce limits on the use of the gas utility companies. For example, the document envisages the increase of the reduction limits to 30% for heating season ".

in addition, Ukrainian consumers will receive a discount for the transition from gas to electricity, which is connected with the limitation of gas supplies from Russia." The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the promotion of replacement of natural gas in the sphere of heat supply. The government decided that stimulated the transition from gas component to alternative sources, " he said.

Before the session of the government Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk announced this decision. According to him, the decision will allow you to install for owners of electric boilers differentiated tariff for electricity: the night of 30 cents per kilowatt (about 3 cents per kilowatt), and at 80 cents per kilowatt (about seven cents per kilowatt). At the moment the electricity tariff is 1, UAH 19 per kilowatt (10, 3 cents).

in addition, consumers using heat from gas boilers, will receive the discount at a rate of 10% if the boiler will switch to another type of fuel.

After long and fruitless negotiations " Gazprom " 16 June translated " Naftogaz ", indebted 5, 3 billion dollars, in advance, and now in the Ukrainian gas transport system are only transit volumes destined for Europe.
