Joint Staff got involved in investigation of humiliating treatment of juniors in Chelyabinsk, informed vice-premier, minister of defence Sergey Ivanov.
"I am well informed about the incident. Joint Staff has already started investigation and we will inform about its results", - said Ivanov.
"We are not going to hide any facts. We take any case of humiliating treatment of soldiers under personal control", - emphasized vice-premier.
During New Year holidays group of soldiers from educational battalion beat servicemen unmercifully in Chelyabinsk tank school. One of servicemen - soldier Sychev, who stood tortures for more than 3 hours - was amputated both legs and genitals.
6 guilty servicemen, including 2 officers, are established and detained.
