Almost 10 % more Russia`s citizens dislike anti-Semitism.
According to published on Friday data from the fund "Public opinion" sociologists, who have interviewed people after the attack on synagogue in Moscow, the share of Russia`s people, declaring their dislike of anti-Semites has raised from 34% to 42%, and the share of those declaring indifference to the problem has decreased from 47 % to 38%.
7% of 1500 interviewed people declared distrust and dislike towards Hebrew people, 5% of the respondents revealed sympathy to those expressing such a dislike.
As the poll, conducted in 100 settlements of 44 districts, regions and republics of the Russian Federation on January 24, showed that the attack on Moscow synagogue didn`t pass unnoticed: 68% of the interviewed people are aware of the event, 86 % of Moscow citizens appeared aware of it.
The respondents are satisfied with the way the event was covered in Russian mass-media: 30 % said that the event had received enough attention. 15% people considered that there had been to much attention and 5% said too little attention had been paid to it. Others couldn`t answer the question.
