Canadian women hockey-players smashed Russians with score 12:0

The women`s team of Russia on the hockey played the second match of group tournament at the Olympiad in Torino. The rivals of Russian women were the acknowledged leaders of world hockey, the active Olympic champions women hockey-players of Canada. Our team failed to shoot the goal - 12:0 in favor of North Americans.

In the first period Canadian realized their advantage in all the components of hockey, after shooting into the gates of rivals seven unrequited pucks. Thus, Russian woman, the day before yielded to Swedes (1:3), practically lost the chances to the output into the semi-final. They will finally lose, if the team of Sweden at least lose to Italians, which yesterday were destroyed by Canada with the score 16:0.
