Defense Ministry to sue Germany

The German company Rheinmetall has terminated the agreement on construction in the Nizhny Novgorod region interspecific polygon Moulineaux. In this regard, the heads of the defense Ministry gave instructions to prepare a proper statement of claim.

The management of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation instructed to prepare documents for a claim in connection with the termination of the contract on the construction site Moulineaux from the German side. The agreement anticipates that in the event of disruption of supply, Russia has the right to put all of a penalty.

"Naturally, this is all subject to the terms of the contract, why, we will be protecting their own interests. I am currently an integral part of the contract does not know all instructions have been given", - quotes RIA Novosti Deputy Minister of defense Yuri Borisov. Also it was suggested also that the conditions of the agreement take into account, in the event of disruption of supplies, the reward of all penalties. "Rheinmetall understands these risks, and they demonstrate the danger of his own government," - noted Borisov. Therefore the German company draws the attention of his government on the problem, formed as a result of frivolous sanctions solutions.

The refusal of the German company will not affect the creation of the Mulino center, said in the Ministry of defense. Germany supplied the RF different exercise equipment for the organization of combat training, it will be replaced by domestic ones. "We especially would not lose. Without the combat training centre Moulineaux will not remain - everything will be arranged," said Deputy defense Minister.

Also, the degree of importance of participation of Germany in the construction of military facilities of the Russian Federation remains to be seen, but it may not be great. Collaboration with foreign organizations could be the result of private initiatives of last management of the Ministry of defense.
