AEB requests the authorities of the EU and the Russian Federation to protect investors from restrictions
European business requests the authorities of the EU and Russia to protect investors from reciprocal restrictions, it will adversely affect the economies of both trading and economic partners, according to a report of the Association of European businesses (AEB).
AEB regrets regarding the escalation of tensions in relations between the EU and Russia, occurred on the background introduced this week response of the Russian Federation. The head of the Russian Federation centuries Putin on Wednesday banned throughout the year to import into the Russian Federation a separate types of agricultural products, raw materials and food from countries that have imposed punishment concerning Russia. Thursday was posted a list of items that were, for example, beef, pork, fruit, poultry, cheeses and dairy products.
" AEB has always stood for the freedom of business between the EU and Russia, as it contributes to economic growth and job creation, as well as stability. The AEB is strongly appeals to the authorities of the EU and Russia with the petition for protection of foreign investors from both sides from any further response restrictive measures ", underlined the European businessmen.
The AEB represents more than 600 organizations from EU and European free trade Association operating on the territory of the Russian Federation or Russian partners. Because of this the AEB again informs about his position in favor of de-escalation of the current conflict in and around Ukraine.
