The protesters at the Verkhovna Rada demanded to accelerate the adoption of the electoral law

The rally near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a demand already this week to approve a new wording of the law on elections organized on the first day of the week about three dozen active members of the organization " intensive care reform package ".
These citizens came to the building of Ukrainian Parliament with posters " we wish transparency party accounting ", transfers ITAR-TASS. Among the requirements voiced by the participants of the action, the conduct of the elections of open regional lists, and reduce the entry barrier to the Parliament up to 3%. Currently before Parliament, there are two draft law on elections: one provides for the election by the existing mixed system, the second - on a proportional. One proposal is to reduce the term of election campaign from 60 to 45 days, to increase the electoral Deposit for parties and blocs to 12 million hryvnia (about 1 million). On the issue of passing barrier, there are 3 offers - 7% for party blocs, and 5% for parties. For the 3% barrier is the nationalist party " Freedom ". The requirement of the reform of the electoral law related to the fact that in the Parliament on 25 July broke up the Pro-government coalition and if new coalition of majority of at least 226 deputies will not be formed during the month, the head of Ukraine may appoint early parliamentary elections. Remember, the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced many times that Ukraine needs early parliamentary elections, which have an opportunity to go in October of the current year.
