"Gazprom" to gasify regions

By "Gazprom" will allocate into the gasification of Russian regions not less than 17,6 billion rubles in the flowing and 12,2 billion rubles in 2007, reported the press-service of the concern on Sunday on the sums of the study of this problem by the council of the directors of gas monopolist.

The council of directors charged the administration to provide in the program of gasification of the regions of Russia allocation of the necessary means to its realization in the volumes not less than 17,6 billion rubles in 2006 and 12,2 billion rubles in 2007. The "Gazprom" council of directors approved the work of the company on the gasification of Russian regions in 2005 and charged to continue it in 2006-2007. At present the average level of gasification in Russia composes 53%, including in the cities - 60%, in the rural area - 34%.

In 2005-2007 "Gazprom" will direct toward the gasification of the subjects of the Federation 35 billion rubles. From them in 2005 it was directed 5,2 billion rubles - taking into account means, inserted in the conclusion of the building of the units of gasification, which began in 2003-2004, the sum of investments comprises more than 7 billion rubles, it is noted in the press release.

The implementation of program will make it possible already to 2008 to ensure raising gasification level on the average on Russia to 60%. Are planned to convert to natural gas of approximately 20 thousand communal general enterprises (hospital, kindergartens, school and t.d.), more than 5 thousand rural and settlement heating boiler rooms, more than 500 agricultural enterprises. The program of gasification will envelop about 11 million people.

Those allocated by Gazprom funds for the gasification will be distributed on the regions of Russia in accordance with the following priorities: the hundred per-cent payment of the current deliveries of gas, the pay-off of debts for the previously gas presented, the economic effectiveness of the proposed to the building objects of gasification, the readiness of users for receiving of gas, and also the rendering of assistance from the side of the administrations of the subjects of Federation to the use of the compressed and liquefied natural gas as the motor fuel.
