Poroshenko: the special status of Donbass does not threaten the integrity of Ukraine

The draft law on the special status of Donbass has no threat to the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, said the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, speaking at the annual meeting of the Yalta European strategy " in Kiev.

according to him, He wants to decentralize power and to give some powers from the centre to the regions.

" I make a proposal for constitutional changes to decentralization, when citizens in local self-government bodies have the ability to influence the situation, decide what kind of language on the area to apply what cultural events to celebrate, how to apply funds from the local budget, " added the Manager.

He also said that he considered it necessary to hold early elections in local authorities.
