The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of the Association agreement with the European Union. However immediate integration impossible, not to mention the fact that, its acceleration will be harmful for Ukraine and the EU.
The document entitled "Draft law on ratification of the Association agreement between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union, the European atomic energy community and their member States, on the other hand" was submitted for ratification to the Parliament on 15 September. The final agreement of this Association was signed on 27 June. Together with this, it was noted that similar negotiations can spoil the Russian-Ukrainian agreements and relationships.
In addition, negotiations between Ukraine and the EU can complicate the peaceful settlement of the incident in the Donbass. Contracts for gas in addition are under a big question in consequence of a probable Association between Ukraine and the EU. The tripartite Ministerial meeting of the representatives of the Russian Federation, the European Union and Ukraine on the Association agreement, the parties agreed to postpone the use of the agreement on free trade of the EU - Ukraine until December 31, 2015.
"There is no doubt that the negotiations on the Association could complicate the peace process. And to complicate, of course, the process of negotiations with the EU on the blue fuel. Because the European Union has decided this irritant time to move for a year at least" - quoted by RIA Novosti Vice President of the Center for strategic communications Dmitry Abzalov. And yet entirely from the private intentions of the parties do not intend to abandon.
"I would not say that someone is in a certain win. Most importantly, all remain without costs. Like Ukraine stops the script immediate financial catastrophe, because reserves the share of the domestic market. If you look from a different angle Europe stressed leaves the door open, and therefore protects the face, because the format of the signed Association remains," said associate Professor of political doctrine of MGIMO (University) MFA of Russia, INF Kirill Koktysh.
Experts report that financial development of Ukraine is difficult to monitoring. Besides all this, it is impossible to say to what promises can walk Ukrainian politicians in the heat of battle. "Promises, which can take in a burst of political struggle Poroshenko or Tymoshenko may not be similar to the European track. Europe and Russia are practically agreed to move the negotiation process for the next year, when the situation more or less stabilized and background for the discussion will not be very likely neither punishment nor the issues of providing blue petrol," he stated Abzalov.
Therefore, the Association between Ukraine and the EU will not bring all parties to the distinctive benefits. The deposition of negotiations will help to postpone the adoption of painful decisions, and all Ukrainian politicians continue to hope to consider future probable Association and is built on the basis of their own programs.
