The mission of observers from the Organization for security and cooperation in the European Union (OSCE) and the OSCE Office for democratic institutions and human rights (ODIHR) started monitoring the preparation for the extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada, which are scheduled for October 26, informs on Thursday, the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

" The Ukrainian side welcomed the work of the OSCE/ODIHR monitoring the parliamentary elections in Ukraine and expressed readiness to assist its work ", - informs the foreign Ministry.
Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Olefir at the meeting with head of the OSCE/ODIHR expressed the hope that international representatives will help Ukraine to provide fairness and transparency of the elections."
