The OSCE has suspended the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the East of Ukraine

OSCE observers said about temporary suspension of the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in the East of Ukraine because of the risk of setting an electronic interference, it follows from the daily mission report for November 6.
" The presence of military electronic noise level in the Donetsk region remains a concern for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles ", said the Observers, Napomnim about the incident with one of the devices 3 November, reports TASS. It stressed that " the results of the risk assessment, unmanned aerial device was not used by mission 6 November ". After the incident, the unit left the area and was able to land successfully. A trial launch of the first unmanned aerial vehicles that are required to monitor the ceasefire in the East of Ukraine, took place on 23 October. The OSCE reported that the UAV will be flying in three directions: to the South of Donetsk and to the Azov sea, eastward to the Russian-Ukrainian border, and westward in the direction of the line of contact. However, in DND told that " reserves the right " to shoot down unmanned aerial devices, which are obliged to act in behalf of the OSCE observers, because they will not be able to distinguish them from aircraft military power of Ukraine, but mainly because of fears that the information collected by the devices, will be available to the Ukrainian military and will bear the risk of the militia.
