Ukraine's exports to the Russian Federation for the eleven months of this year fell by 32%, while Imports from Russia by 50%, said at a press conference on Thursday, Deputy head of the State fiscal service of Ukraine Anatoliy Makarenko.
The Ukrainian Export to the EU countries increased by 5%. Imports from the EU to Ukraine decreased by 22%. Exports to CIS countries fell by 31%, while Imports from these countries by 42%. With Imports from Belarus increased by 12%. Exports to Asia Ukraine has reduced by 8%.
According to Makarenko, 32% of the volume of exports falls on the EU, 28% CIS, 27, and 7% in Asia.
according to him, despite the decrease in the volumes of exports and imports, Russia is still the largest financial partner of Ukraine with a share of turnover of 20%.
The second is China (7% of turnover), then Germany - 6%, Poland, Belarus, Turkey 5%, Italy 4%, Hungary, India, USA and France - 2%.
Ukraine is in a difficult political crisis, which affects its economy and the public sector. In fact, the country is on the verge of default. The authorities have a hope to save the country's economy through foreign borrowing.
