OSCE: the Ombudsman of Ukraine is not called the complete ceasefire
The Ombudsman of Ukraine in General the centre for the control and coordination (SCCC) in the Donbass major-General Alexander Rasmusson denied messages in the media about the fact that complete cessation of fire shall come into force on 28 December, say Observers of the OSCE on the results of the visit to the centre on 22 December.
" He (Rasmusson) noticed that he never claimed to stop the fire, and specific dates. He explained that while it is impossible to carry out a genuine ceasefire and begin joint patrols SCCC due to the ongoing incidents and expiring of them concern ", - reported in the published OSCE open version of the Special report of the observation mission on the evening of December 22.
Rasmusson also told observers that on 24 December in Lugansk and on 26 December in Donetsk scheduled meetings SCCC.
SCCC, the headquarters of which is located in Debaltsevo, includes officers of the General staff of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, holds regular meetings with the designated self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk republics. OSCE observers periodically visit SCCC and report the information received from them.
Kyiv authorities began in April, military action against dissatisfied with the February coup d'etat residents of Eastern Ukraine. According to the summary data of the United Nations, victims of the conflict were 4, 7 thousands of civilians, almost 10 thousand were injured.
