The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Vice President Biden agreed to meet during the Munich conference February 6-8, informs press service of the Ukrainian head.

The interlocutors also discussed the possibility of further assistance to Ukraine from the USA.
"Petro Poroshenko and Joseph Biden agreed to hold a bilateral meeting during the Munich security conference, which will take place February 6-8, and discussed the preparation for this meeting," said the report.
Biden also spoke about the possibility of expanding punishments against Russia.
The Munich conference was founded in 1962 as "the meeting authorized the military departments" of countries-members of NATO. Now it is an international discussion forum, a gathering of politicians, diplomats, military, business, academic and community leaders from more than 40 countries in the world (members of NATO and the EU, and countries that play an important role on the world stage - Russia, China, Japan, India and others).
