Ten U.S. senators, including John McCain, spoke on Thursday with a proposal to provide weapons to the authorities of Ukraine.
"We cannot stand by and watch people being murdered in the Ukraine," said McCain at a press conference on the initiative of senators." Bullets don't help against tanks, " he added, referring to the version of too inactive technical equipment of law enforcement, conducting the so-called anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine.
McCain said that he would submit to the Senate a draft law, which will require President Barack Hussein Obama to give the weapon Ukraine, if the leader does not go on it. However, any draft law obliging the President to take steps in this regard will require the signature of Obama, to enter into force. Authorized Obama has stated many times that the administration wants to make a decision on the matter on their own.
