Erler said that during his last official visit was not able to talk with the authorized State Duma of the Russian Federation, however, this time meeting with representatives of the lower house was held.
"Our parliaments are required the most, and despite the difficult times, to maintain close contact, I take it as a responsibility to contribute to finding a political solution out of the current fall," he said.
Speaking about the involvement of German politicians in the resolution process of falling between countries, the coordinator said that during the last decade in the Bundestag discussions took place in connection with the liquidation in the capital of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, also discussed the decline in relations between the two countries.
"All factions submitted to the Bundestag agreed that we must do Everything to apply All the chances for a political settlement of the conflict, which means sequential execution of all points of the Minsk agreements, and on this issue there is a consensus of German politicians and the public," said Erler.
