At the same time the Minister of foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomir Zaoralek said that Prague against extension of economic sanctions against Russia at the March EU summit and believes, because this decision has to be taken in June." If you mean sectoral punishment, my position is that it would be better to use the time to wait, How the situation will develop in these days and weeks in the East of Ukraine and make a decision. Let's see what will happen in place, our solution has to be connected with this - with specific developments in place. It seems to me that it would be correct to take a final decision in June, " said the Minister correspondents. According to his statement, member countries of the EU are working to prepare the position for the meeting of the European Council on 19-20 March." I am convinced that we can achieve consensus, because for the Czech Republic the main thing is to have a common position and to reach consensus. Before the first day of the week foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz said that does not support the idea of early renewal of economic sanctions on the Russian capital, noting that the decision was obliged to depend on the situation in Ukraine. Before that, Deputy head of the foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said that some European Union countries keep their "zealous" partners from imposing new sanctions on the Russian capital. At the same time the head of the European Council Donald Tusk said that the punishment relative to the capital of Russia must continue to act in support of the execution of convicts in Minsk agreements and relations between the U.S. and the European Union. On the last working day of the week, a source in the diplomatic mission of one of the leading EU member States in Brussels said that the question of extending the sectoral punishment of the European Union to the Russian capital has the possibility to be solved only in the course of the next EU summit in June. Wednesday 1st Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans in the European Parliament said that the restriction on capital of Russia must be part of the strategy of the European Union.
