The draft Declaration of the summit of " Eastern partnership ", which ended up in the editorial office, does not involve the introduction of a visa-free regime between the EU, Georgia and Ukraine.
Officials of Ukraine and Georgia is expected that the conference will indeed taken the time to create a visa-free agreement with the EU, but in Riga, Latvia are waiting for them the disappointing news " are mentioned on the Internet office of the radio station. In the draft Declaration " nothing is reported about the European perspective of these States, however, there are orders that the process of implementation of visa-free regime depends on the implemented reforms.
It is also stated that in the Draft Declaration are able to be changed, however, most likely, they will not be significant. The initiative "Eastern partnership" was launched by Poland and Sweden, and approved at the EU conference in Brussels in 2008, formally established in may 2009 in Prague. The goal of the program is the convergence of the EU with Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Belarus without their adoption in the EU.
The program provides a significant increase in the level of political engagement, a broad integration of former Soviet republics in the EU economy, the increase provided them with financial assistance and enhancing energy security. Ukraine and Georgia are applying for the visa-free regime with the EU in may 2015, at the conference partnerships in Riga.
