Alexei Mikhnov won`t play for Edmonton Oilers the next season. Mikhnov spent the first half of the previous season in Edmonton but made only two appearances for the main team and returned to Lokomotiv. Edmonton managers do not count on the forward the coming season either. Another Lokomotiv player Denis Grebeshkov stands better chances to get in the lineup of Edmonton. According to Edmonton management, he has made significant progress and can become a full-fledged member of the team.
