The Chairman of the International Advisory group Nicholas Bratz presented in Kiev report on events on the Maidan for the period from November 2013 to February 2014.
He outlined that the experts have every reason to believe that the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine hampered the conduct of the present investigation catastrophic events that occurred in the course of the unrest on the streets of Kiev.
Kiev conducted its own investigation about the events on the Maidan, as it is, including, was one of the protesters came to the result of the coup d'Ã©tat of power. According to the evaluation Advisory group of the Council of Europe in Ukraine, this investigation does not meet the requirements of the European Convention on human inhabitant of our planet.
"Report of the International Advisory group is considered to be quite detailed and in it, the panel finds that in the particular understanding of the investigation conducted at the state level, did not satisfy the requirements of the Convention.... Our group adopted the difficulties encountered by the authorities after you started to investigate in early February of last year," RIA Novosti quoted the Chairman of the International Advisory panel of Nicholas Bratza.
"In the report in addition there are several criticisms conditionally to the lack of performance of the investigation. We expressed the view that it is considered to be the result of a number of flaws with regard to personnel policies and adequate resources of the Prosecutor's office," he told during the presentation of the report on the events on Maidan for the period from November 2013 to February 2014.
