Moscow, moreover, remains open to any collaboration, though, and did not intend anyone to impose any formats of interaction. Despite the fact that Western politicians in their own statements a considerable role to international security, these steps to create favorable conditions for development of cooperation between States on this issue they are in no hurry to commit. Namely, the German side did not support the idea to invite to the summit of the countries "big seven" of Russian President Vladimir Putin, thereby reducing the efficiency of the whole meeting. "The President has often stated that we don't mean someone to intrude in any formats. You can still add to this that, of course, the discussion of large-scale problems without the participation of Russia is unlikely to be effective and unlikely to cause any actions", - quotes RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov. "As before, we certainly are open to any cooperation, any interaction. Have been and remain open," he added, answering the question whether Russia is interested in the meetings, similar to the G7 summit. The German side, previously strongly opposed to the participation of the Russian Federation at the meeting of the countries "big seven", had to adjust some of their point of view. So, the official representative of the German foreign Ministry Martin Schaefer announced that the G7 as before open to the participation of the Russian Federation, reports Bloomberg. But to declare the full involvement of Moscow in the meetings, taking into account the opinion of the German foreign Ministry, will be possible only if the situation in Ukraine will change. So, in Berlin planned meeting of foreign Ministers of the Normandy Quartet - Sergey Lavrov from Russia, Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany, Laurent Fabius of France and Pavlo Klimkin of Ukraine. At the talks, the diplomats will discuss the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
