Russians will have an extra day off
Domestic authorities are worried about the health of the people and decided to give the Russians an additional day off. From the fall of prophylactic medical examination in Russia can be paid to employers - they will have to pay workers a day spent in its passage.

The state Duma Committee on health protection is preparing a hotfix to the Labour code, according to which Russian citizens there will be an auxiliary output on the medical exams. 1 Deputy Chairman of Committee Nikolay Gerasimenko stated that in the foreseeable future corrections will be discussed with MoH and the Ministry of labor, and at the end of may, the bill may be introduced in the lower house of Parliament.

According to the document the day on which the workers will be engaged in their health, will be paid by the employer. Adept of the state Duma explained that now, the main obstacle for the prevention of health - medical examinations for the working population - is the leadership, it often does not wish to give the employee time off for examination. "Clinical examination gradually expands, but the current values could be higher - quote Gerasimenko "Izvestia". - There are problems: not all excused".

Besides, the MP drew attention to the fact that the passage of the examinations in the highest degree essential for early detection of cancer and cardiovascular disease. According to reliable information of Rosstat for the 2014 year, and more than 55% of deaths are heart disease. The authorities believe that if the Lord will begin to pay more attention to their own health and to go to the survey this figure will be significantly reduced.

With all this, it is likely that employers would react to a similar initiative with skepticism. Because their costs are estimated at 34 billion rubles, while clinical examination is often delayed for 2-3 days. With all of this, economists believe that, in General, firms would be easy to assume such an obligation.

"The obligation to pay for medical examinations of workers should not heavily hit the companies, which currently costs the medical insurance system are a tiny 5.1% of the wage Fund, which is a little: abroad they reach 15%, - says Vladimir Grishin. "On the contrary, it should be interesting to let all employees on the diagnosis, therefore he will be convinced in their health. If innovations will confuse the business, then, for example, a probable scheme of a parity of a missed payment by the employer, the social insurance Fund, Fund of obligatory medical insurance".

But the head among other things, I'm afraid that the extra output will be used for another purpose. They hope that the dishonest employees under the pretext of passing the medical examination can take off work, buying a certificate mesalazine. Meanwhile, the Ministry of labour and social protection and the Ministry of health said will give their assessment of the proposals of the Duma Committee on health protection, when they will go to them.

Note that now, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian labour code does not take into account the employer's responsibility to let go or forced to send employees for medical examinations. The employee may wish to be screened himself in his "home" clinic. Accordingly, and missed worker for its passage day often remains unpaid, that's not fair to the workers, given that they have a medical need.
