As ITAR-TASS learnt at the law enforcement bodies of the territory, "this is certain Shanyazov, a 28-year-old resident of the Neftekumsk village of Kayasula who was on the federal wanted list for grave crimes."
"It was established that when a youth he visited Chechnya to undergo training at camps of illegal armed formations and then participated as a member of the so-called Nogaiisk battalion in an attack on Dagestan in 1999," a law enforcer said.
Shanyazov was spotted in a private house in Kirov Street in Neftekumsk on Monday afternoon. When the gunman was offered to surrender the latter opened fire from firearms and was killed in a special operation. The gunman had a submachine-gun, grenades and a big amount of cartridges with him.
