Five documents were signed as part of the 9th round of the Russian-German high-level consultations in Wiesbaden on Monday.
The signing ceremony was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The documents include an agreement between the Russian Ministry of Science and Education and the German Ministry of Education and Research; a declaration of intent between the Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency and the Germany Ministry of Education and Research ("FAIR" project); a memorandum on completing a deal between the Unified Energy System of Russia, OGK-4 and E.ON Russia and Power; a protocol to the agreement on the avoidance of double taxation of May 29, 1996 and a protocol to it of May 26, 1996; and an agreement on cooperation between twinned cities of Perm (Russia) and Duisburg (Germany).
