The new rail terminal will appear in the Russian capital near Kursk station. In the future it will be merged with the new, which will be called Kalanchevskiy. The station will serve the high-speed train route between Moscow and Kazan.

For high-speed highway Moscow - Kazan on the territory of Moscow will construct a new station, said the head of "highways" Alexander Misharin. According to his statement in the first line will use the existing infrastructure. Then you will see the latest railway terminal near the Kursk railway station. "Actually, Kursk and Kalanchevskiy (the planned construction. - Approx.ed.) the stations will be United," added Misharin.

The construction of railroads for new stations will not affect nearby objects, said the specialist of the interregional public organization "City and transport" Andrey Surikov. "The place for building the new railway is, because the right of way to the railroad is quite wide and allows you to build 3 and 4 of the road in places where it is needed. All the next projects is taken into account and the global demolition is not expected," he told the radio station "Moscow FM".

All trains on Kursk station is served by Kalanchevskaya. It is the only connecting line between Kursk and Belorussky railway stations. According to Surikov, with additional trains on 2 available routes will not be able to send long-distance trains, in consequence of this and formed the idea of the construction works of the new station.

Also considered the project of reconstruction of the whole site from Kalanchevskaya station to train station on the site of the former commercial court.
